SELL COINS AT RETAIL PRICES
you ever asked yourself "Where can I sell an old coin collection"? Have
you inherited coins from a relative but have no idea what they are
worth? Do you have an idea what your coins are worth but have no idea
how to maximize the amount you receive?
gold prices at record levels & silver at its highest price since
the early 1980's, the time has never been better to sell your coins.
The problem for most folks is that the only way they know to get cash
for their coins is to take them down to the coin dealer at the local
mall. The best you can hope for is a wholesale price because THEY sell
YOUR coins at retail prices to make a profit. If you have inherited
coins from a relative & you have no idea what they are worth you
are ripe to be taken advantage of by someone unscrupulous. Very small
changes in a coin's condition or the same date & denomination with
a different mint mark can mean a difference of hundreds & sometimes
thousands of dollars in value. So as you can see the coin market is
full of pitfalls for the uninformed.
name is Andy Spaeth & I have sold tens of thousands of dollars of
coins in the last 2 years for people just like you & I can help you
sell your coins as well. The internet in general & eBay in
particular has revolutionized the coin industry & made it very easy
to sell coins, sell silver coins, & sell US gold coins at retail
prices. BUT you have to know what you are doing. Let me tell you my
story to let you know why I am qualified to help you sell your coins.
started selling coins on eBay several years ago in an unusual way. I
read an article on the internet about searching rolls of half dollars
at the bank because they very rarely circulate & there are lots of
silver halves still in circulation sitting around in banks. I have
found well over a thousand silver half dollars over the last 8 years
& at first I would cash them in at the local coin store. I was
doing alright but was only getting about 60 cents on the dollar for my
coins. I had started buying things on eBay & decided to try my hand
at selling rolls of half dollars on eBay. To my delight I would receive
full market value for my halves based on the current value of silver.
searched every bank I could find within a 100 mile radius of my home
town of Cincinnati & found a ton of silver halves. But after a
while I dried up the supply in my area & the time & gas
involved to search farther away was cost prohibitive.
decided to start a coin consignment business & put an ad in the
local newspaper. I got a lot of calls & as I said I sold tens of
thousands of dollars of other people's coins on consignment. My
customers were all very happy but then I stopped getting calls &
the business dried up.
designed a blog to keep people informed on how to get the best price
for their coins & I'm available to sell coins on consignment on
eBay. The advantage to you is that since I'm paid on consignment it is
in my best interest to get you the highest price possible for your
coins. When selling to a dealer, the lower the price they get you to
accept the more money they make. The market for coins on eBay is so
competitive that I can list a $1000 coin with the proper keywords in
the proper category for a penny & it will sell at market value. I
can usually tell you what you can expect for your coins prior to
listing them & my fees are reasonable. I can list your coins for
you with no money out of pocket & the eBay fees come out of my end.
My eBay ID is drew3604 & I have maintained a 100% positive feedback
rating with no negatives EVER in all 8 years I've been a member. I am
trustworthy & can work out a plan to sell a small $40 or $50 lot
initially to prove my honesty & build credibility. Visit my blog at
www.sellyourcoins.net for more reasons why you should do business with me.
